The refractory period in the central z-plane is 0.34 s, while t_ref = 0.4 s (A), 0.8 s (B), and 1.2 s (C) in the rest of the cell. Warm colors indicate substantial Ca²⁺ release site activity, while cool colors correspond to lesser Ca²⁺ release activity. Other parameter values as in Table 1 and σ = 8.5 μM μm³/s.
