HMGB1, in the absence (−) or the presence (+) of HMGB1_(130–139), was added to solubilized membrane proteins from rat hippocampal synaptosomes. Immunoprecipitation procedure was performed using anti-HMGB1 (IP HMGB1) or anti-GluN1 (IP GluN1) antibodies. Immunoprecipitates were submitted to SDS-PAGE followed by Western blot analysis. A representative experiment (of three) is shown.
