Schematic overview of a 2D chromatography setup for the automated enrichment of peptide-RNA conjugates derived by complete hydrolysis of protein-RNA complexes irradiated with UV light. Interactions between phosphate groups and TiO₂ stationary phase are responsible for the selective retention of nucleic acid components.
