Effects of MCP in microglial culture. Primary microglia cells were exposed to MCP 1 hour prior to an LPS challenge. At 24 hours after the LPS challenge (A) proliferation, (B) NO production, and (C) ROS release were measured and quantified. (A) MCP resulted in a dose dependent reduction in microglial responses to LPS. *p<0.05, **p<0.01 vs. control; +p<0.05, ++p<0.01; +++p<0.001 vs. LPS; One-Way ANOVA. Bars represent mean +/− SEM.
