(a) GPF with 200 particles. (b) OCPF with 100 particles. (c) SCPF with 50 particles. The bounding boxes measure 10 × 55 pixels throughout. The panels in (a)–(c) show the tracking results overlaid on the image of the moving neurofilament and the insets show the object tracking area at higher magnification. The position of the bounding box relative to the image of the filament is an indication of the tracking performance. The SCPF method generates more accurate tracking performance.
