Transformation of H. pylori type II restriction endonuclease-deficient mutants with genomic DNA from Kmr H. pylori strains with different methylation activities. H. pylori 26695 and derivative strains were transformed with genomic DNA from H. pylori strains that had been transformed with pCTB8:Km yielding chromosomally encoded Kmr (vacA::aphA) strains.
