Differential expression of IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α and IL-1β mRNA in glucosamine- or curcumin-treated HaCaT cells. The cells were cultured to 90% confluence in DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum at 37°C and in 5% CO₂. After glucosamine (A) or curcumin (B) treatment for 24 h for the indicted concentrations, cells were harvested and the cell lysates were prepared for RT-PCR analysis. Similar results were obtained in two different experiments.
