On admission, CD-68-positive cells were markedly increased (A and E), and the residual hepatocytes were diffusely stained with an anti-LDH antibody (B and F). In the recovery phase, significant decreases in CD-68-positive cells (C and G) and LDH production in hepatocytes (D and H) were observed.
