Oral supplementation with n-6 (2 g/Kg body weight, three times a week, gavage) or water have started four weeks before HFD and continued until the end of experimental period. Animals were fed HFD or CD for eight weeks. GTT: glucose tolerance test; ITT: insulin tolerance test. Mean ± SEM (n = 6–15).
