Oral supplementation with n-6 (2 g/Kg body weight, three times a week, gavage) or water started four weeks before HFD and continued until the end of experiment. Animals were feed with HFD or CD for eight weeks. Approximately 150 mg of tissue were incubated in DMEM medium for 24 h and the supernatant were used for measures. Mean ± SEM (n = 7–11).
