In pipette aspiration bleb injury, the cortical actomyosin-spectrin skeleton progressively detaches [6]. Our model considers a node as one equipotential compartment in which actual spatial arrangements of pumps and channels are irrelevant. However, the fraction of Nav channels in the injured portion of the membrane, along with the severity of their gating abnormality, are model parameters.
