Culture media of HESC was collected and pro-inflammatory ligands was analyzed using ELISA. a) sPIFpromotes mRNA expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and adhesion molecules as compared to controls. (b) PIF promotes inflammatory cytokine and chemokine secretion by HESC, P < 0.05. The increase in gene expression was confirmed by increased secretion into the media.
