Kinetics of IFN-γ secretion in the whole blood assay. Heparinised whole blood was diluted 1/10 in RPMI and cultured in the presence or absence of antigen for varying periods. Supernatants were aspirated and the IFN-γ content determined by ELISA. The response of 4 different healthy donors with strong TST reactions is shown.
