The CD4⁺CD25^highCD127^low T cell subset in one Down syndrome (DS) expressed 98·3% of forkhead box protein 3 (FoxP3); the CD4⁺CD25^highCD127^low T cell subset in one control expressed 96·4% of FoxP3 (data not shown).
