Axial radiograph of the knee in a 49-year-old woman demonstrating the sulcus angle as well as the congruence angle (CAB), composed of the line bisecting the sulcus angle (BA) and the line connecting the patellar median ridge to the trough of the trochlear sulcus (CA). In this patient, the congruence angle measures greater than +16 degrees, thus the patella is subluxated.
