Yeast cells were grown to exponential phase and pre-treated with 300 µM of quercetin or equal volume of DMSO (control cells) for 15 min and subsequently exposed to 1.5 mM H₂O₂ for 1 h. Cells were incubated with rhodamine-phalloidin to stain actin and visualized on a fluorescence microscope. (A) Deconvolved and stack fluorescence images of cells with actin staining; (B) Percentage of depolarized cells obtained after counting approximately 1500 cells for each treatment condition.
