The latter had been maintained with a HFD for 20 weeks. Body weight (B) and visceral adipose tissue weight (C) were significantly higher in HFD vs. NC mice (n=10, **P<0.01). (D) Oral glucose tolerance test. HFD mice showed increased glucose tolerance compared to controls (n=6) and the blood glucose level reached the maximum at 15 min (*P<0.05).
