    • Family history of FS

    • Age <18 months

    • Low peak temperature

    • Duration of fever

  • Possible Risk Factor

    • Family history of epilepsy

  • Not a Risk Factor

    • Neurodevelopmental abnormality

    • Complex FS

    • >1 complex feature

    • Sex

    • Ethnicity

No risk factor; <15% chance of recurrence at two years

2 or more risk factors; >30% chance of recurrence at two years

3 or more risk factors; >60% chance of recurrence at two years
