Influence of the physiological solution (culture medium) flow rate in the bone bioreactor on the distribution of the model drug (rhodamine B [RhB]) released from implants based on titania nanotube arrays on the surface of titanium wires. The flow rate of 7 mL/hour was compared with the static condition (no flow) after 24 hours of drug release. The bone diagrams on the right indicate the locations at (A) horizontal (5 mm) and (B) vertical distances (2.5 mm) from the surface of the implant where concentration measurements were taken.
