Both short (20 ms, A) and long (200 ms, B) current injections (0.03 nA) result in an immediate AHP following the action potential and after the stimulus is removed. The derivative of the action potential (dV/dt) for short (C) and long (D) stimuli show no evidence of a “hump” on the repolarization phase of the action potential.
