Raw tracings of both AHP +ve neurons (A) and AHP -ve neurons (B) show a decrease in Na+ current in response to 1 µM TTX. Current density – voltage relationships showed that TTX (1 µM) significantly reduced peak Na+ current in both AHP +ve (C) and AHP −ve (D) neurons. Furthermore, both AHP +ve (C) and AHP −ve (D) neurons have some TTX resistant Na+ current channels that have a peak current density of ∼25 pA/pF in both cell types.
