Fatty acid composition analysis of P. aeruginosa. (A) Fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) prepared from strains grown overnight on LB agar supplemented with either 100 μg/ml of decanoate (C10:0) or perdeuterated decanoate (d19-C10:0) were analyzed by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection.
