Effect of the incubation temperature on DCF formation in nsPEF-exposed U937 cells. Exposures at the indicated parameters were performed at the room temperature, followed by a 30-min incubation at 4, 24, or 37 °C. Same procedures were utilized for positive control samples (TBHP). DCF emission was measured immediately after the incubation. Note broken Y-axis with a different scale after the break. For each temperature, shaded areas show DCF formation resulting from nsPEF exposure. See text for more detail.
