Data are means ± SE (n = 6 per group); *: p<0.05 vs. Baseline within condition; #: p<0.05 vs. Air+OVA; &: p<0.05 vs. Saline within condition; £: p<0.05 vs. NO2+OVA+CNP, by repeated-measures ANOVA. Responsiveness to MCH significantly increased following NO2 exposure, with significant differences among the subgroups: responsiveness was substantially larger in the NO2+OVA group. Animals treated with CNP during sensitization and exposure to NO2 (NO2+OVA+CNP) had significantly lower MCH responses than the non CNP-treated counterparts.
