S. coelicolor LW34 and LW33 were grown in duplo in liquid SMM (growth curves (GC) 1 and 2). Samples were taken at different phases of growth (early, mid and late transition (eT, mT, lT), and stationary (S) phase). The sampling time is given in hours of growth in brackets underneath the determined OD450. Production of actinorhodin (Act) and (undecyl-) prodiginines (Red) is given in μg /dry cell weight mg-1.
