Transient expression of SPRYSEC-19 in tomato ‘MoneyMaker’ harboring the SW5F gene does not result in local cell death. SPRYSEC-19, GFP, and an autoactive mutant of the resistance gene Rx1 (i.e. Rx1[D460V]) were transiently expressed by agroinfiltration in leaves of tomato plants.
