Genetic lineages recognized as putative species are highlighted in red and separated by longer black branches. The top corner graph shows the lineages-through-time plot based on the ultrametric tree. The sudden increase in branching rate, indicated by a red line, corresponds to the shift from interspecific (orange rectangle) to intraspecific (yellow rectangle) lineage branching. The vertical bars at the end of the branches group all sequences within each significant cluster, labelled by a provisional species name.
