Temperature dependence of LPS binding. ApoLp-III binding to LPS was measured by the increase in tyrosine fluorescence emission at 308 nm. Solid line: apoLp-III tyrosine fluorescence in the absence of LPS. ApoLp-III was incubated in the presence of LPS at the temperatures indicated, and the spectra were recorded at 22 °C (dotted line), 28°C (short dashed line), 37 °C (long dashed line), and 42 °C (dashed-dotted line).
