Body size-corrected length measurements of five representative morphological characters for all seven avian study species on South America, Trinidad and Tobago. Values for each character and species are scaled to have mean = 0 and standard deviation = 1 to allow for comparisons on the same scale. Box lengths encompass the first and third quartiles, the filled circles are at the median, and whiskers extend from the first and third quartiles to 1.5 times the inner quartile range or the outermost data point within that range. Box widths reflect relative sample size (wider being a larger sample).
