HeNC2 cells were stimulated with LTA (LTA, 1 µg/ml), LTA+Hb (LTA+, 1 µg/ml and 50 µg/ml respectively), Hb alone (Hb, 50 µg/ml) or maintained in medium (C) for the indicated times. Supernatants from these incubations were electrophoresed on SDS-PAGE gels, transferred to nitrocellulose and incubated with anti-HMGB1. Similar results were obtained from each of two independent experiments.
