A minimal CaCHS2 promoter contains functional RLM1-elements. a C. albicans strains containing a single copy of the minimal CHS2 and CHS8 promoters with mutated RLM1-elements were assayed for β-galactosidase activity following growth from an OD600 of 0.1–1.0 in the presence and absence of 100 μg/ml CFW.
