Animals were sampled mid subjective day (ZT5-8) in a 12∶12 L∶D cycle. Note the significant upregulation of both antigens in the SCN, and also the ramified morphology of the cells in the post-septic SCN (scale bar = 100 µm). These are shown in higher magnification in (B) in SCNs from LPS treated animals (scale bar = 50 µm).
