Quantification of OVA-specific, IL-2-producing spot forming cells (SFC) after a 36 hour in vitro stimulation of splenocytes (pooled from 4–5 spleens) with indicated antigens [study A (A) and B (B)]. Data has been given as SFC/106 splenocytes. More SFC than the cut-off of 50 SFC/106 cells indicates a positive response.
