4-HNE enhances the expression of PPARγ target genes Lpl and Gsta2 in vivo in the spinal cord of wild-type mice. Mice were intracerebroventricularly injected with 4-HNE (5 nmol/mouse) or vehicle and the expression of Lpl and Gsta2 was analyzed in the spinal cord after 3 h by semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis (n = 4–5 mice per each experimental group).
