Expression of mutant eIF-2α (S48,51A) increases IκB-α protein levels in C^ko measles virus infected PKR⁺ cells to levels seen in PKR^kd-infected cells. A, PKR⁺ or PKR^kd cells were transfected with either an empty vector (Vec) or an expression construct encoding either S48,51A or S51D mutant eIF-2α as indicated.
