Summary of operational model parameters for allosteric modulation of glutamate-mediated ERK1/2 phosphorylation in HEK cells expressing low mGlu5 levels

For ERK1/2 phosphorylation in the low-level mGlu5-expressing cell line, data were expressed as fold increases over basal values, with the Em defined as the response to 10% fetal bovine serum (9.4-fold). In the presence of allosteric modulators, logτA (−0.36 ± 0.13) and n (4.43 ± 0.50) were not significantly different (one-way analysis of variance) (Supplemental Table 3). Parameters are as defined for Table 2. Data represent the mean ± S.E.M. from at least three independent determinations.
