Changes in BM cellular distribution in control mice (Upper) and DSS-treated mice (Lower). Data were obtained by phenotypic labeling of BM cells with anti–Ly-6C and anti-CD31. Lymphoid cells, Ly-6C/CD31+; erythroid cells, Ly-6C/CD31; monocytes, CD31+/Ly-6Chi; granulocytes, CD31−/lo/Ly-6Cmed; mixed progenitors, CD31+/Ly-6Cmed (Fig. S2).
