For both heated and ambient treatments, ecosystem respiration and gross primary production were significantly correlated. However, analysis of these data reveal that the ratio of ecosystem respiration to gross primary production is significantly less than unity in the ambient treatments, while in the heated treatments this ratio is indistinguishable from unity and they are therefore at steady state on an annual basis.
