Prediction results from hierarchical inverse metamodelling within each regional regression model in the N-way HC-PLSR. The R2-values from test set prediction of the parameters from the state variables are shown for regional model 1–6, corresponding to the clusters used in the N-way HC-PLSR. The regional models use 18, 19, 19, 18, 19 and 17 NPLSR factors, respectively. The clustering was done on the global factors, using 19 factors.
