Sexual phase phenotypes. Strains were inoculated onto SCM plates to induce production of female reproductive structures (protoperithecia) and incubated for 6 days in constant light at 25°C. Cultures were then fertilized with males (macroconidia) of opposite mating type and incubated for six more days before being photographed.
