Augmented pre-BCR expression on large pre-B cells in LAPTM5-deficient mice. Bone marrow cells isolated from wild-type (WT) and Laptm5^−/− (knockout [KO]) mice were stained for pre-BCR, CD19, CD43, and GL7 on the cell surface. Filled histograms in the top panels show representative staining profiles for pre-BCR and CD19 expressed on large pre-B cells (CD19⁺ CD43⁺ GL7⁺), while open histograms indicate control staining with an isotype-matched control antibody. All the data are summarized in the panels, which show the mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) values (means ± standard errors of the means; n = 4 each) for pre-BCR and CD19 staining (∗, P < 0.05; N.S., not significant).
