Cleavage of the cysteine mutants into F1 and F2. HeLa CD4 LTR βgal cells were transfected with pCAGGS F, metabolically labeled with 35S-Promix, incubated for 120 min (chase), and immunoprecipitated with an anti-F polyclonal antibody, and polypeptides were analyzed by SDS-PAGE on 15% gels. Radioactivity was detected by a Fuji phosphorimager.
