(A) Schematic diagrams of H5Cam (Cam), H5Anh (Anh) and chimerical constructs. (B) HEK293T cells were transfected as described in Fig. 1. NAvb was added 16 hr post transfection. At 48 hr post transfection, cell lysates were harvested and analyzed for HA protein expression using anti-FLAG antibody. GAPDH antibody was used as the loading control. (C) MDCK cells were transduced with H5pp containing culture supernatant and luciferase activity was measured at 72 hr post transduction. Results are shown as means ± SD (n = 3 independent experiments). No significant differences were found between Anh and any of the three chimerical constructs AnhCam1, AnhCam2 or AnhCam3.
