RF front end design used with the eight-channel array. Transmit-receive modules consist of a transmit path and a receive path with two λ/4 segments of line ending in shunt PIN diodes. The λ/4 lines transform the short circuit to an open circuit, blocking transmit power from reaching the preamps. Isolation of better than −54 dB was achieved between the transmit and receive paths.
