Incorporation of [α-³²P]UDP-Glc and [β-³²P]UDP-Glc into pea stem Golgi vesicles. Golgi vesicles (200 μg of protein) were incubated with 1 μm (3.0 μCi/nmol) of [β-³²P]UDP-Glc (A) or [α-³²P]UDP-Glc (B) for different periods of time. The reaction was stopped by filtration through 0.7-μm glass fiber filters, and the amount of radioactivity associated with the filters was determined using liquid-scintillation counting.
