(a) 2-APB (5 μM) was applied to cells already stimulated with 3 μM progesterone (prog). 2-APB caused a tonic increase in [Ca2+]i that reversed upon washout (↑) of the drug. Upon application of the drug, [Ca2+]i fell and oscillations were suppressed, but [Ca2+]i then recovered despite the continued presence of the drug.
