Immunohistochemistry for cyclin D1a and cyclin D1b using isoform-specific antibodies. The cyclin D1a antibody used was clone SP4 (Lab Vision), and the cyclin D1b antibody specificity has been described (Wang et al, 2008). Representative examples of colon cancer samples are shown. Case 1 expresses nuclear cyclin D1b. Case 2 expresses nuclear cyclin D1a.
