The 2YFP–ABV construct gave rise to a disperse signal throughout the cell and a large focus of strong signal that might correspond to the aggresome formation reported for similar chimeric fusion proteins (54), although no significant degradation is observed in a Western blot to monitor the expression and stability of YFP fusions (Fig. S5).
