Effect of mercuric compounds on plasma lipid peroxidation (LPO) levels in mercuric compounds-exposed mice. Mice were gavaged with 2 mg/kg/day MeHgCl or 5 mg/kg/day HgCl2 for 2 to 6 consecutive weeks. Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels of the plasma were determined using the commercial manufacturer’s assay kit as described in the Materials and Methods section. All data are presented as means ± SEM.
