CwsA interacts with Wag31. CwsA, CwsAsol, and Wag31 fusions to T25 and T18 fragments of adenylate cyclase in the BACTH vectors (Table 1) were used in various combinations to transform E. coli BTH101 and recombinants plated on LB agar supplemented with X-Gal and IPTG. Green-blue colonies were subsequently propagated in LB broth (top), and β-galactosidase activity was measured as described in the text (bottom).
